The Dental Consulting Company was founded in 2025 by a student of the Department of Management Science and Technology at the Athens University of Economics and Business, in collaboration with one of the leading dental laboratories in Greece. Rather than emerging from within the clinical community, the company was built on a multidisciplinary vision that blends strategic thinking, technology, and elite-level dental craftsmanship.
The Problem in Modern Dentistry
The company was born out of a critical and growing issue in modern dentistry: the disconnect and miscommunication between dentists and dental technicians. In clinical practice, it has become increasingly evident that many restorative failures — both aesthetic and functional — stem from the lack of mutual understanding between the clinical and technical domains of treatment planning. A 2023 global review published in the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry noted that over 62% of aesthetic restorative failures could be traced back to poor treatment planning or inadequate collaboration between practitioners.
Moreover, the rapid rise of digital dentistry has outpaced the educational systems of many professionals, creating skill and communication gaps. This often results in suboptimal outcomes, despite patients paying high fees and expecting excellent aesthetic results. Dental Consulting Company was created to bridge this gap.
